For Germain Larivière, a successful delivery means that you are completely satisfied. Our delivery team will follows a high level of standards, in order to guarantee that your experience is as pleasant as possible:
Here are some suggestions to make sure your delivery goes as planned:
Please ensure that access to your home, including the driveway and all hallways, is clear before our arrival and that the necessary space inside your home is made available for the delivery of your purchase.
If you have purchased large household appliances, please disconnect the water pipes, gas or power cables of your old appliances from their connection points in the house to facilitate their removal by the delivery team.
Due to occupational health and safety regulations, the delivery team will not be able to remove their shoes inside your home, but all reasonable steps will be taken to protect your floors.
For liability reasons, our delivery teams are not permitted to move furniture or appliances that are not part of the purchase you just made and cannot move other furniture or household items to the inside or outside the house.

Our automize Delivery Service Department will text and email you 48 hours prior to delivery to confirm the delivery date and your address.
- This notification is only to confirm your information and delivery date. Please click "Confirm" if everything is valid. You will receive another notification after this which will give you access to our real-time tracking feature, including your delivery window. Delivery timeframe a 3-hour period.
The morning of the delivery you will be able to follow your delivery in real time by accessing our tracking function with the link provided the day before.
Upon our arrival, we will make a quick visit of the premises and prepare your home for your new purchase.
Your delivery will be unwrapped and assembled, if applicable.
Our delivery personnel will collect the packing materials.
A few minutes after the delivery, you will be contacted by text or email for survey:
If you were not completely “Enchanted” by any aspect of your experience at Germain Larivière, a member of our team will contact you as soon as possible.
48 hours before your delivery, Germain Larivière's automated system will contact you to confirm the scheduled date, your complete address, please verify that the address and postal code are correct. If there are any changes to be made, please contact our appointment department immediately at 514-866-8691 ext. 2280 or directly on the confirmation e-mail or text. The balance must be paid in full a minimum of 7 days prior to delivery in order for delivery to take place.
If you cannot be present, a person over 18 years of age must be present to sign for delivery of your merchandise. Charges may be added to your invoice if no one was at home when our delivery drivers arrived.
Please note that our delivery personnel do not install or uninstall appliances. Please ensure that your old appliances are unplugged before our delivery personnel arrive.
- if the sale was concluded by telephone or internet, the cardholder must be present and provide proof of identity (driver's license).
Deliveries to the Quebec City, Gatineau/Ottawa and Laurentians regions are served by our trucks. These will be confirmed by Germain Larivière's delivery department, with regard to the appointment and time slot.

Ensure that the appropriate areas are cleared out and easy to access, both indoors and outdoors (clear any snow, if necessary – driveway, yard, stairway). In order to help us avoid causing damage to your property, we recommend that you protect your carpets and floors (our delivery personnel always have a small rollable carpets available).
Our delivery personnel are only authorized to remove doors that are equipped with pivot hinges.
The client must ensure that the door openings and stairways are large enough to allow our delivery personnel to deliver their purchases without having to work in confined spaces.
For safety reasons, our delivery personnel cannot remove their safety shoes or boots.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the new furniture or appliance is level before using it for the first time. It is important to wait 6 hours before plugging in a new appliance or television. In order to ensure better quality control for our products, the majority of appliances are tested while in the plant. Therefore, it is possible that you may find a small quantity of water inside. This is normal.
