Our delivery team will follows a high level of standards, in order to guarantee that your experience is as pleasant as possible.
1. Preparing for delivery
Our automize Delivery Service Department will text and email you 48 hours prior to delivery to confirm the delivery date and your address.
- This notification is only to confirm your information and delivery date. Please click "Confirm" if everything is valid. You will receive another notification after this which will give you access to our real-time tracking feature, including your delivery window. Delivery timeframe a 3-hour period.
Please verify that the address and postal code are accurate. If any changes must be made, please contact our delivery Department immediately by answering our text and email or at 514-866-8691, extension 2380. The balance must be paid in full a minimum of 7 days in advance for delivery to be process.
If you can not be present, an individual aged 18 years or older must be on premises to sign for the delivery of your merchandise. Additional charges may be applied to your invoice if nobody is at your home when our delivery personnel arrive.
- If the sale was concluded by telephone or internet, the cardholder must be present and provide valid photo identification.
Please note that our delivery personnel do not provide installation or uninstallation of appliances. Therefore, please ensure that your old appliances have been disconnected before our delivery personnel arrive.
Deliveries in the Québec City, Gatineau/Ottawa and Laurentians regions are carried out by our trucks, A delivery employee will contact you in advance, by telephone, to arrange delivery date and schedule, before your merchandise is shipped from our Distribution Centre in Longueuil.
2. The day of delivery
The morning of the delivery you will be able to follow your delivery in real time by accessing our tracking function with the link provided the day before.
Ensure that the appropriate areas are cleared out and easy to access, both indoors and outdoors (clear any snow, if necessary – driveway, yard, stairway). In order to help us avoid causing damage to your property, we recommend that you protect your carpets and floors.
Our delivery personnel are only authorized to remove doors that are equipped with pivot hinges.
The client must ensure that the door openings and stairways are large enough to allow our delivery personnel to deliver their purchases without having to work in confined spaces.
For safety reasons, our delivery personnel cannot remove their safety shoes or boots. Our delivery personnel will unwrap the merchandise, with the exception of items that must be assembled by the client. We ask our clients to inspect all delivered items carefully before our delivery personnel leave the premises.
3. Damage or problems with your purchase on delivery
Did you notice an anomaly during delivery? Contact our after-sales service department on our site immediately by clicking on the customer service tab or by calling 514-866-8691 #3 to report the problem. Any defect on merchandise must be reported to Germain Larivière upon delivery and be indicated immediately on the delivery voucher before the departure of the delivery team. Otherwise, the goods shall be deemed to have been received in good condition. In the event of a defect, Germain Larivière reserves the right to have the goods repaired instead of replacing them.
