APPLIANCES
Your appliances deserve protection that goes further
The Protection + Plan offers several benefits designed for eligible appliances, in addition to the coverage provided by the manufacturer.
WHAT IS COVERED:
- "Lemon" (Defective Product) Guarantee
If the same major component breaks down for a fourth time since delivery, the product may be replaced in accordance with the terms of the Plan. - Power Surge Protection
Damage caused by a power surge may be covered, provided the conditions set out in the Plan are met. - Thermal Stress Protection
Coverage is provided for certain types of damage caused by thermal stress to glass-ceramic cooktops. - Knob Replacement
Broken control knobs that prevent the product from operating may be replaced. - Food Spoilage Protection
Up to $250 per covered breakdown—to a maximum of $500 over the term of the Plan—for food lost due to a breakdown that prevents a refrigerator or freezer from functioning. - Meals and Prepared Food
Up to $200 in total over the term of the Plan following a covered breakdown of an eligible cooking appliance. - Laundry and Dry Cleaning
Up to $100 in total over the term of the Plan following a covered breakdown of a washer or dryer. - Preventive Inspection
A preventive inspection may be requested during the term of the Plan for eligible products valued at $300 or more.
ELECTRONICS
Protection for your entertainment moments
The Electronics Replacement Plan is designed for items such as televisions and other eligible consumer electronic devices.
WHAT IS COVERED:
- Surge protection
- No deductible
- Up to 4 years of coverage
- Peripheral protection
Following a covered breakdown, certain peripherals supplied with the product may be replaced, including:
– Remote controls;
– Game controllers;
– Speakers;
– 3D glasses.
Coverage for peripherals begins upon the expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty for the item in question and ends when the Plan expires. It is limited to one replacement per peripheral for the duration of the Plan.
- Replacement credit
The replacement credit may be up to the original purchase price of the covered product, excluding applicable taxes, subject to the terms and conditions of the Plan.
PLEASE NOTE: Computers are not covered by this Plan.
FURNITURES

The Furniture Protection Plan offers you extra coverage, so you can enjoy your furniture with complete peace of mind.
WHAT IS COVERED:
- 5 years of stain protection
- 5 years of protection against certain covered accidental damage
- Parts and labor coverage for up to an additional 4 years
- "Lemon" guarantee (protection against defective products)
- Power surge protection
- No deductible
- Protection against manual mechanism failure
- Product replacement if the part is no longer available
- Protection against defects in hinges and hardware
OUTDOOR FURNITURE
Make the most of your outdoor space.
The Protection Plan for outdoor furniture offers additional coverage against certain types of accidental damage, mechanical failures, and structural issues.
WHAT IS COVERED:
- Accidental stains and spills
Professional cleaning or repair for certain damage caused by food, beverages, or other accidental incidents. - Chips, cracks, and breakage
Protection against certain accidental impacts and glass breakage covered by the Plan. - Mechanical and functional failures
Protection for specific mechanisms, including umbrella adjustment systems, reclining functions, and other eligible moving parts. - Structural assembly failures
Coverage for parts and labor in the event of a structural failure of the furniture during normal use. - Replacement guarantee
If a covered item cannot be repaired, or if the necessary parts are no longer available, a replacement or a replacement credit may be provided, subject to the terms and conditions of the Plan.

Selon le produit, le bris et les conditions de votre Plan, une réparation, un remplacement, un crédit ou un autre avantage prévu au Plan peut être offert.

ET EXCLUSIONS
Votre Plan de Protection et votre facture d’achat constituent les documents qui définissent votre couverture.
Certaines conditions, restrictions et exclusions s’appliquent selon le type de produit et le Plan choisi.
Par exemple, peuvent notamment être exclus certains dommages causés par une mauvaise utilisation, une mauvaise installation, un accident, un choc, une chute, des causes externes, une infiltration de liquide ou d’humidité, ainsi que certaines réparations effectuées sans autorisation préalable.
Les coûts d’installation, d’enlèvement, de livraison ou de réinstallation peuvent également être exclus, selon le Plan.

No. The new Comerco material indicates that there is no deductible to pay for the plans presented, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Yes. The Plan can be transferred from one owner to another at no cost, by following the procedure established by Comerco.
The duration depends on the Plan and what is indicated on your invoice. For the electronic Plan presented in the new document, coverage can last up to 4 years.
No. Computers are not covered by the Electronics Replacement Plan presented in the new document.
The holder may cancel the Plan under the conditions set out in the contract. For the Protection + Plan, Comerco specifically provides for the option to cancel within 30 days of purchase—provided that no claim has been filed—in addition to any applicable rights provided by law.
